Our Hell World

This series takes place in a practical adaptation of the world of Hell which parodies the Divine Comedy written by Dante Alighieri. The Hell world is divided up into nine concentric circles otherwise known as districts. Most of the laws of physics and science that apply on Earth still apply in this Hell world. Except when you die in Hell you get respawned back to the Suburb of Recovery and must pay a fee. Also, unemployed souls must do a minimum 40 hours per week of torture to earn the Hell currency. Once a soul becomes employed, they no longer get tortured. However, jobs are difficult to find and those with jobs are afraid of losing them and facing torture again.
